Ashtami puja vidhi in hindi - भारतवर्ष में प्रत्येक साल नवरात्रि का त्योहार पूर्ण हर्ष व उल्लास के साथ मनाया जाता है। नवरात्रि में दुर्गा मां के नौ रूपों का पूजन किया जाता है। नौ देवी पूजा का यह पर्व वर्ष में चार बार आता है जिसमें से अश्विन तथा चैत्र मास के नवरात्रि का महत्व विशेष होता है। इसके अतिरिक्त दो गुप्त नवरात्रि के व्रत रखे जाते हैं। इन नवरात्रि के दिनों में देवी मां के नौ अलग - अलग स्वरूपों का पूजन किया जाता है। इसके साथ ही कुछ भक्तगण पहले दिन से ही माता की व्रत तथा पूजा अर्चना करते हैं। शारदीय नवरात्रि में अष्टमी दिन का विशेष महत्व होता है। इसमें अष्टमी का दिन महागौरी देवी को समर्पित है। अष्टमी तिथि को महागौरी की उपासना की जाती है। पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार, जब माता पार्वती ने भगवान शिव को पाने के लिए कई हज़ार सालों तक घोर तपस्या की थी। तब उनके शरीर का रंग काला हो गया था। उनकी गहन तपस्या को देखकर जब शिव जी उसने प्रसन्न हुए और शिव शंकर ने उन्हें गौर वर्ण का वरदान प्रदान किया जिस कारण माता पार्वती महागौरी कहलाई।

अष्टमी पूजा विधि :
इस वर्ष 2021, में अश्विन मास के नवरात्रि की अष्टमी तिथि 13 अक्टूबर को मनाई जाएगी। ऐसे करें अष्टमी की पूजा
• सर्वप्रथम आप अष्टमी की निर्धारित तिथि को प्रातः काल उठकर नित्यकर्मों तथा स्नान आदि से निर्वत होकर स्वच्छ वस्त्रों को धारण करें। इस दिन यदि आप निर्धारित अष्टमी तिथि के रंग के वस्त्र पहनते हैं तो यह आपकी पूजा के लिए अधिक शुभ माना जाएगा।
• जहां आपने देवी मां को स्थापित किया है। उस मंदिर की अच्छे से सफाई कीजिए। महागौरी की प्रतिमा को साफ करके स्वच्छ वस्त्रों को धारण करवाकर मंदिर में बिठाए। माता रानी को लाल चुंदरी उड़ाना ना भूलें।
• इसके पश्चात् आप पूजा की थाली को सजाएं। उसमें रोली, अक्षत, सुपारी, चंदन तथा कलावा आदि रखें। माता रानी को सफेद तथा पीले रंग के फूल अर्पित करें। देवी मां के भोग के लिए बताशे अवश्य रखें ।
• आपने नवरात्रि के पहले दिन यदि नारियल की स्थापना की है। तो उसकी भी पूजा करें। तथा नारियल के पास ही पूजा अर्चना करें।
• इसके बाद सबसे पहले गणपति जी की पूजा करें।
• माता रानी को पूजा के लिए महागौरी की कथा का पाठ कर सकते हैं, देवी दुर्गा शक्ति का चालीसा करें तथा महागौरी बीज मंत्र का जाप करें। अंत में गणेश जी की आरती करने के साथ महागौरी की आरती करें।

कुछ भक्तगण अष्टमी के दिन माता रानी की पूजा करके कन्याओं को भोजन कराते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त कई लोग हवन का भी आयोजन करते हैं। अष्टमी के दिन आप 9 कन्याओं को भोजन कराएं। अपनी क्षमता के अनुसार दान दें तथा माता रानी का आशीष लें।
रात्रि को माता रानी के भेटों को गाकर जागरण करें तथा अगले दिन नवमी की तिथि को पूजा करने के बाद पारण कर व्रत को पूर्ण करें।
